Welcome to our web site. KR-Japan is an old traditional family style Company
with many years of know how in the flexible tube manufacturing. Due to the complexity of our products, many of our flexible tubes are produced on in-house developed machines. We are a proud family with over 50
employees based in Tokorozawa, Japan.

Company Background
KR, an abbreviation for Kokusan Rasenkan, started manufacturing in 1920. The factory was taken
over in 1991 by eight employees and re-started as KR-Japan, as it is today.
KR is steadily growing with a basic range of 3 Product categories:
1) Household flexible tubes, such as shower hoses, flexible
lamp holder, microphone stand
2) Medical flexible tubes, such as used in blood cooling system and endoscope
3) IT range, metal flexible tubes for protection of Fiber Optical cables, telephone cords and
sensor cables. Also for protecting electric cables in heavy duty environments.
Companies future
KR-Japan is approaching the European and North American markets by setting up distributors and sales agencies. Further, we are participating in relevant trade shows, presenting our products and capabilities to the market.
Entering the Fiber Optic market with our protective flexible tubes, is a key strategic point. Protecting
Fiber Optic cables is a rapidly growing sector in the Asian Region. It is expected for the near future that this market also will start to grow in the European and North American markets. FTTH, Fiber To The Home is for example one sector where fiber optic protection is becoming very important.
